Dear UESCenglishQUEST users,

4 ways to understand what you hear

Each individual's brain works in a slightly different way and we need to get that! Everyone has their own time to achieve fluency, then don't be so hard on yourself.
When we start learning a new language, usually we start by making connection between our native language and the new one until we are able to "separate" them in our brain. But it takes a while, specially when we work on our listening skills.
English Teacher James shares very interesting tips to understand what you hear in a foreign language. One of these hints has caught my attention: DON'T THINK, JUST LISTEN! We seldom remember that at some point in our lives, we need to stop translating everything into our mother tongue and plug away with a new context of language which is full of other vocabulary, sounds, expressions and etc.
In short, let's check the video of this week by clicking on the image and watch these tips which I have talked about. Enjoy it!

Uma dessas dicas me chamou a atenção: NÃO PENSE, SÓ ESCUTE!

Aproveite!
